Preparing for the next USDAW Divisional Council Meeting Wednesday 25th January 2017

I have received my paperwork for the first USDAW Midlands Divisional Council meeting of 2017.

It will be good to meet up with the Midlands Divisional Council and get back to Business.

USDAW National Organising Awards - Award Night - Sat 14th January 2017

I attended the USDAW National Organising Awards at the Raddison Blu Hotel at Manchester Airport on Saturday 14th January 2017.

The event was really good and it was good to be there with fellow Usdaw reps who had been nominated for the awards.

Before a three course dinner all Divisional award winners received there award and had photos taken.

The Midlands Divisional Award winners

After the meal the Usdaw National award winners were announced - oscars style with a summary of each nominee and the envelope.

I won the Usdaw Health and Safety award for the Midlands Division but I was not the National winner.

It was a very proud moment to be representing the Midlands Division in Manchester.

I enjoy my role as a Health and Safety rep and ensuring KP Ashby remains a safe site to work at.
