Wednesday 22nd January  2020 I attended the Divisional Council meeting at the Usdaw Redditch office.

We then read the minutes from the previous DC meeting. These were accepted. 

Minutes of the recent EC meeting

We read through the EC minutes. 

ADM 2020 Kate will be the chair of standing orders.

We took a look at the minutes from other Divisional Councils. These were accepted.

We looked through a selection of circulars from central office and a selection of press releases. These were accepted.

We received the Deputy Divisional officers report and Divisional officers report from Gavin Dadley. 

Membership 407,022 nationally and 54,626 divisional.

 

(1) Young workers week is 9th - 11th March. 

(2). Midlands Divisional conference 28th and 29th March. 

The Divisional officers report was read and all points noted/endorsed.

(1) The Midlands Divisional conference went well with a collection. Several people went out to campaign for jack Dromey during the general election. 

(2) Membership week jan 20th to 26th. 

(3) 18th January 2020 the USDAW organising awards will take place. Good luck to all the midlands nominees. .
